As part of our IT consulting services, IT Direct provides training so that our clients understand how to use their computers and phones effectively and how to reach us with any questions or concerns. Training has tremendous power to unlock the hidden potential in technology. Even the most sophisticated technology is not performing optimally if your employees are not comfortable using it.
On-site trainings in programs such as Excel and Access can be customized based on the specific roles performed at each office. We speak in layman’s terms so that even the most tech-phobic staff members will feel comfortable using technology to do their jobs effectively. Training is performed on programs loaded with our clients’ specific applications.
We make recommendations on getting the most out of training sessions, such as scheduling trainings over an extended period rather than in one concentrated timeframe. Retention after seven one-day sessions will be much higher than after one intensive seven-day session. We have found that training staff can make a positive impact on job satisfaction and even improve retention.
During these training sessions, and at any point during our relationships with clients, we ask about additional functionality that could streamline job performance. Our IT professionals can develop creative, customized solutions to adapt technology to work the way our clients prefer. We also recommend modifications that we have made for other clients performing related functions.
